I’m up late, and of course thinking about chocolate. (What else???) So what better way to start off this blog post than with this Spanish proverb: “Las cosas claras y el chocolate espeso. (Ideas should be clear and chocolate thick.)” It comes up a bit different in Google Translate, but you get the point.
Thankfully, when working with chocolate, both hold true for me.
I have some very clear ideas about my chocolate; the way it should taste, look, feel, etc. I also have very clear ideas and goals for my company, and I am very excited about some upcoming events and opportunities! In the very near future, Sweet Nothings Chocolate Co. will be a vendor at the “Eco-Chic Wedding on a Budget” bridal show. This evening, on Earth Day, Sweet Nothings Chocolates were a part of another ‘green’ cause, the “Dirty Martinis for Clean Water” party and silent auction hosted by Renaissance Aveda Salon and Spa at the Hotel Monaco. This summer, beginning June 20th, Sweet Nothings will be selling at the Stapleton Farmer’s Market (come look for us!). Not to mention that I feel so fortunate to be able to provide beautiful and unique chocolate wedding favors to several happy couples who will be getting married this summer! I love weddings.
Who doesn’t?
And then of course, there is the chocolate itself. I am more than thrilled about my new flavors, the new approach to purchasing through my website, and all the beautiful new photos taken by the extremely talented Dominique Lucas of Fall Child Photography. If you haven’t been there lately (or even if you have!), please visit my newly re-vamped site and let me know what you think! www.sweetnothingschocolateco.com
I am always receptive to other’s thoughts, so if you have any ideas, questions or comments, (or you just want some thick chocolate), drop me a line at ashley@sweetnothingschocolateco.com, or leave a comment below! I look forward to hearing from you.
